- Gabrielle, this morning you told me that you were sent to the library to research for an inquiry project. I just ran into your teacher who said you were not sent to the library and were supposed to be in class writing a test. What happened?

- I'm sorry...I was avoiding the test because I didn't study for it. I shouldn't have lied to you.
- It is important you are honest with your teachers. When you're supposed to be in class, you must have permission to be here in the LC. We love having you here, but you cannot use this space to avoid your work. Your actions come with consequences and you will need to work to earn our trust back.
- I will work hard to earn back your trust. I came here because it felt safe at the time. I know it was a bad decision to avoid the test. I assure you It won't happen again.
