  • Lilac had been upset
  • Dark forest
  • The angry boy
  • Lilac had been in distressed for a long while, it had grown exhausting. She was tired of feeling the way she did, but wasn't sure how to fix it. Axel visited her one day, inviting her on a walk with him. she agreed, following him through the town. Time had passed quickly, sending a soft chill through the air. They had come across a dark forest, they looked in awe at the twisted branches of the ancient trees. Their feet pattered against the mossy forest floor and Lilac looked around nervously. "You didn't bring me out here to kill me, did you?" Lilac had questioned, her eyes skeptical.
  • Willing to change
  • Axel laughed and shook his head, "I had no clue this was even here." Suddenly the air around them grew thick and they could here the soft humming of a women. "Hello children." A voice echoed through the trees, the two teens paused. "What have you come here for?" "Who are you?" Axel questioned.i'm the mother of the forest, healer of all." She responded kindly, a delicate charm to her voice. "I'm sorry," Lilac muttered, "i hope we didn't interrupt you." The mother of the forest shook her head in reassurance. "Do not worry child, I'm June, what is your name." "
  • After thoughts
  • The three talked together, a gentle breeze blew through their clothes and June smiled. "You want to become happy?" June had asked, intrigued by Lilacs comment. "Yes, i really do. "Then go my child, and wash your sadness in the waterfall". The sounds of leaves erupted through the forest, A young boy wondered through the trees, a frown visible on his face. "No waterfall will help!" The boy, named Coven, scorned toward the group. "No such thing will help, it's a waste of time." Coven had argued, his blue eyes dark and hurt. "What makes you say that dear child?" June asked, turning toward the boy. "Because it's stupid, nothing like that ever works."
  • A relief
  • Lilac bit the inside of her lip and shook her head. "I'm willing to try. I want to get better." Coven frowned, "idiot! There's no point in trying, you'll never be happy." Lilac patted the boy on the shoulder, "The least i can do it try." Coven threw his hands up in annoyance, then suddenly fell into the waterhole beside him. As he fell Lilac walked into the waterfall herself and waited for change. In just a few moments lilac could feel stress and grief leave her body, she sighed in relief. She slowly walked from under the water and smiled to the group, but something was different. "Where did that boy go?" She asked, looking around her surroundings. "He was enveloped by his own anger, he now swims in the waterhole as a sad fish, he must want to get better, to become human again." June replied.
  • "Was that real?" Axel had asked as the pair walked down their street. "Yes... i believe it was." Lilac had begun to feel happy again, but a small part of her ached for Coven, if only he could have tried to get better, things would be different. "Maybe one day he'll be human again." Axel had smiled sadly. "I really hope so."
  • Many weeks later, Lilac returned. "I want to thank you," she had said, "You really helped me." June smiled kindly and nodded her head, "I'm happy i could help." she continued, "Also, i'm happy to say Coven is human again." Lilac grinned wide when she heard the news. "I'm glad, i'm really glad."
