- Jim has his first day as a employee at a business! First day on the job! Although Jim has no experience in this line of work. His co-worker Bob, is happy to show him different the 4 principles of capitalism around town!

- "Alright Jim I am going to show you the 4 principles around town". Lets take a trip! The 2 men are going to a soccer field now for the first principal!
- This is beneficial to business because it can boost innovation!
- Just like in a soccer game, rival businesses "play" against each other for more customers and profit. Competition Jim and bob are having a penalty shoot-out to win the game.
- Freedom of Choice. When you are at a restaurant you have the choice of picking what you want to eat. This is beneficial because it gives the business a variety of goods or services to sell.
- Profit. If your friend were to give you some money to buy a lottery ticket and you won, you would have to pay back your friend what he gave you but then you get to keep the rest. This is good for businesses because they can make money from their product or service.

- Private property. The owner of this house really does not like Bob and Jim on his lawn. He is obligated to say this because it is his own private property so he can do what he wants. This is beneficial to businesses because they control everything they own.
