- on an early sunday morning, the sun was out the birds were chriping as Lisa was sitting at a crowded coffee shop with her coworker getting some work done and checking her emails
- then minutes later , a man from lisa and her friends office , adam, sends an email blast to every employee saying lisa is a drug abuser embarrassing her amoung all her coworkers and degrading her reputation in her workplace and even more importanly her boss.
- im gonna send this email hehe
- oh my god did you just see this email adam blasted out to our whole office about me
- the next day, lisa and her friend were getting food and were discussing the incident of the day before that violated lisa, when lisa and her friend came to a soulution
- you should take him to civil court on a tort!! a written accusation where a member of society has violated common standards of ethical behavior can lead to a libel suit!
- OMG your right!! his email blast of me being a drug abuser is a complete lie and i can prove it with a clean drug test! the accusations are considered grounds for a libel case
- one week later lisa met with adam and she got a drug test taken, showing she was clean and in-fact not a drug abuser as evidence to serve him with a civil court case and her want to sue him under the category of libel.
- im clean!!!gonna sue you so hard !! your going to regret this!!!
- official drug test results: negative
- lisa took adam to court for his civil wrong doing and is sueing him for 10,000 dollars on the tort of being liabel ( is defamation that includes defamatory statements that are published or broadcast) and adam pusblished an email blast saying lisa is a drug absuer and she has evidence proving otherwise.
- MY DRUG TEST IS NEGATIVE! your statment violated and embarresed me in front of all my coworkers and my boss and could have lost me my job and reputation!
- since the tort libel is a category of defamation that includes defamatory statements that are published or broadcast, because of Adam sending an email blast of a accusation that could have lost lisas her job and reputation and was proven false, adam lost and had to pay lisa 10,000 dollars.
