- The First Labor
- Long ago Zues had a affair with a mortal women which resulted in a baby boy named Hercules. Hera, Zues's wife, was outraged by the birth of Hercules so he cast upon him a spell of madness. This madness caused him to murder his family.
- The Second Labor
- Due to the grief of slaughtering his own family Hercules decides he must set out on a journey to find redemption. The first place he goes is the Oracle of Delphi. The oracle tells him the only way to find redemption is to serve his cousin, King Eurytheus of Tiryns. King Eurytheus then sets him a series of impossible tasks with hopes to humiliate him.
- The Third Labor
- For his first labor King Eurytheus ordered Hercules to hunt down the Nemean Lion. Hercules chased the lion into its cave and stangled it with his bare hands, but he couldn't find anything sharp enough to skin its hide with. Then the wise goddess Athena suggested using its own claws to skin the hide.
- Glory
- For his second labor Hercules was sent to slay the Lernaean Hydra. At first he tried to slay it by chopping off its heads but each time he took one off another grew back in its place. Then his nephew Lolaus told him to use fire to cauterize the necks and prevent it from growing more heads. Thus the Hydra was defeated.
- For his third labor Hercules, instead of being ordered to kill something, was ordered to capture the Ceryneian Hind. The hind was a deer so fast it could outrun an arrow. After tracking it down and capturing it he discovered the animal was sacred to Artimes. He decided to return it afterwards even when King Eurytheus demanded to keep the hind.
- After capturing the Hind Hercules set about completing many more tasks such as capturing the Erymsnthian Boar, cleaning Augeas's stables, killing the Stymphalian birds, choking the Cretan bull, taking down the mad Kind Diomedes, retrieving Hippolyta's belt, stealing a magical herd of red cattle, obtaining a golden apple, and capturing Cerberus. After 12 years of toil Hercules had atoned for his sins and earned a seat in the divine pantheon.
