- Daniel Morgan and his troops meet up at South Carolina to fight Banastre Tarleton and his British army at the near by pastureland at dawn that morning.

- Cornwallis finally gives up on trying to take over south Carolina and heads for Yorktown so he can make his way back to Virginia.
