In this scene you see Atticus Finch talking to Mayella on the stand. In this part, she begins to cry because she believes Mr. Finch is mocking her. She tells her side of the story and says Mr. Robnson raped, choked, and beat her.

In this part of the book Mr. Finch is now talking to Mr. Robinson. He asks Mr. Robinson what happened and Mr. Robinson tells him that Mayella was trying to kiss him and he did not harm her he only pushed her away.

In this last part, Judge Taylor sentences Mr. Robinson to prison and he is said to be guilty of rape. After this, Atticus walks away and the Robinson family sends him food to thank him for his help. Atticus' son and daughter begin to wonder how this is fair.
