- hello! my name is Alex! today my goal will be to buy a new laptop for school by the end of 2023!
- the first step is to find out what laptop you would like. My goal is to get the Acer Chromebook 514, which costs $599.
- the second step is to find a job to get the money from. I am currently not old enough to get an actual job,
- but I will in a few months and I'm going to find a job by the summer of next year. When I am old enough I will look for a fast food job. let's say I make about 14 dollars an hour.
- if we do 599 (the price of the laptop) divided by 14, (the money we make per hour) we get roughly 43, so that means around 43 hours of work. If I work 4 hours a day during the summer, (14x4) that's 56 dollars so if we do 599 divided by 56 its about 11 days of work. but including tax, (599x1.13) its $676.87. so, it will actually take around 13 days.
- the third step is to find time to do the work and how long it will take. I will be in school, so I will work sometime in the summer.
- my next step is to do the work. I will do it during the 9th grade summer when I don't have a lot planned, and my goal is to get enough money before the school year starts. I will set a schedule for everyday so I can see when I have the time to work. once I'm done all the work I can buy the laptop.
- and as the final step, I'm gonna buy the laptop and reach my goal.
