  • It would be lovely if I had money and was able to live in a nice home and eat whenever I want and whatever I want.
  • The peasants had do do all of the hard work. They did not have a lot of money or food. They had to pay taxes and half of what they produce do the lord, king or landlord. If you were a runaway serf, you can not be caught for one year and a day and then you will became a freeman.
  • By all means, move at a glacial pace. You know how much that thrills me.
  • As a freeman you could open a shop and work for other merchants. The people who lived outside of the castle were able to receive protection from the castle walls during an invasion if they sign the "Oath of Allegiance".
  • Yummy food, with lots of money
  • The King, Nobles and wealthy people were able to live in big houses called castles. They were able to afford a lot of food and had to do little work. They had lots of money. They watched the peasants and poor people do all of the hard work from their castles.
  • Should have gone to sleep country
  • The peasants had to sleep in houses that were not very warm. Their houses did not have glass in windows so cold air was able to sneak in. They had to sleep on beds made of straw. The houses were very crowded because they slept with animals and multiple generations of family members to keep warm.
  • please sir, that is all I have
  • THAT'S ONLY HALF OF WHAT YOU OWE THE KING
  • i'm so happy that I am not a peasant.
  • The peasants had to pay very high taxes to the landowners. Sometimes they did not have a enough money to pay the taxes. Most of their money that went to taxes which prevented them from being able to afford fresh food.
  • There goes my lunch money.
  • The peasants and the wealthy went to church. They paid some money to the church because they believed that they could live forever if they did. This made the churches rich. When the bubonic plague hit, the people paid the church lots because they believed that if they pay they will be saved.
  • LONG LIVE THE KING
  • KILL THE KING KILL THE KING!!!!
  • The peasants and poor people sometimes did not like the rules and high taxes that the king put in place. So they rose up against the King and killed noblemen and lords. That is how the feudalism system collapsed.
  • Should have stayed at home.
  • Wonder if this will make me late for dinner?
  • For rising up and killing nobles and lords, the penalty is death. The were ether hung or had their heads cut off.
