I am sick and tired of working on the farm. It is too much work and I want a different job maybe somewhere in town.

Before I knew it, we were selling our farm to an old man and his wife, and we packed up the wagon and started our journey to the north.
I was getting letters from some of my old friends saying that cotton production was raising through the roof, and Ohio had found thriving agriculture.
