- There is a variation of population between these two birds, the green ones though have a easier time or surviving because of their color
- Here, the predator (the dog) is hunting the white birds because they are sticking out and soon there will be only green birds because of natural selection and the green is the better trait.
- Reproduction is occurring and since green is the more favorable trait more of them are being produced due to the white birds being killed off.
- A change in the environment now causes the white birds to be the more favorable trait and with a lot of time they will over populate the green birds. The predator now sees the green birds and the white birds are surviving easier
- The white birds have a more favorable trait which allows them to hide. This means that they survive over the green birds because the green birds have no way to hide.
- There is a change in population because of reproduction at first there was both, now there are a lot of white and very few green. As you can see there is also less variation because there is more white and it is rare to see a green bird now.
