- In school I would like to get better grades. I don’t only want to get better grades because it feels like an accomplishment when you do good, but also because I want to do good for my parents. My parents are happy when they see good grades because they know I work hard. I also want better grades because if I do good my parents won’t be mad at me. As you can see, I would like to get better grades.
- I want to put a lot of effort into my work.

- I want to study more and harder to get good grades. People don’t like studying because they have to spend time on it and not play games. Of course i understand but if we study harder our parents might get us new toys. Besides, studying only takes a long time if you get distracted or you drag it out. If we put away our games, turn off the TV, don't go on the phone, and really concentrate you’ll be done fast. You’ll also be so happy when your hard work really paid off.
- I want to keep my room clean/make my bed every day.

- I do not want to get an infraction. I don't want to get an infraction because you not only get in trouble, but you have to go home and probably get punished. When you get punished you can’t play games. But if we would've never got in trouble we could have been happy playing games and talking to friends. I do not want to get an infraction not this year, not the next ones to come.
- I want to try not to get in trouble and always be as honest as I can.

- I really want to put a lot of effort into my work. Not just school work, but any work I do. If I do the assignments really fast it will be messy and won't be good. But if i spend time on it and really put my effort into it, it’ll look so much better! Not only look better but my facts will be more accurate and everything will be so much better. As you can see I really want to put effort intomy work.
- I want to clean my room and make my bed every day. I want to clean my room every day because my room is small, but even smaller when it’s dirty. It looks so much bigger when it's clean. I also want to make my bed every day because it not only looks nicer, but because I don't want my mom to do it. I don’t have a problem with her doing it but I don't want her to make my bed. I feel like if i didn't do it, it shouldn't be done. As you can see I really want a clean room and nice bed.
- I want to try to never get in trouble and always be as honest. This is important. It's not only good to tell the truth because it makes you feel good but also so when you tell someone something important, they believe you. Also with getting in trouble or lying you get a bad gut feeling, because you know what you did wrong. As you can see these are my New Year's resolutions and I will try to stay by them as hard as I can.
