Even though the store took reasonable precautions to ensure the safety of their customers, the fact remains that the plaintiff still slipped through no fault of her own and suffered significant injuries rendering her unable to work.
After listening to the testimony of both parties and reviewing the evidence, I find that the store is partly liable for the plaintiff's injuries.
The defendant must compensate the plaintiff in the amount of $10,000 for lost income and pain and suffering!
