- Good morning class! Today we will be learning about the tale of the big bully shark and the scrawny fish
- The story begins with a big ole mean shark. But the shark was not so so mean (maybe a little but the world may never knowwwww)....but anyway.
- He was the biggest and baddest thang in the sea (but that's only because I wasn't there). He would eat every fish insight hoping to gain electrons. But it would never work because he needed a bond (see what I did there... just a little ionic bonding humor).
- EAT EAT EAT is all he would do (well I guess tbh I don't know what sound a shark makes...maybe a little Rawr idk)
- CHOMP
- cue the swimming sounds....
- ugh I did it again! I ate the fish. they are all scared of me but I just need a friend a true *bond*(haha I did it again)
- He tried his hardest. He was a big one and had 7 electrons. He only need one but every fish was scared of him and plus they all had too many electrons because he only needed one to become an elite shark...a true octet
- But one day a helpful and scrawny fish came along. He was bullied by the all the other fish because he only had one electron (aww so sad). He was on a hunt for protection...someone to bond with (hint hint) and he found the shark. They bonded and became the best of friends. A true bond if I do say so myself.
- And guys that's how you trick a class into wanting to learn about ionic bonding
