- Gilgamesh was a cruel king. His people prayed for a new one.
- A new king.

- The goddess Aruru granted their prayers and sent Enkidu. Enkidu lived in the wild and was raised by animals. But then Enkidu was found and brought to Uruk to live like a human.
- It's very peaceful here.
- Then Enkidu heard of Gilgamesh and wanted to befriend him. But then he heard of Gilgamesh's cruel ways and challenged him.
- I have more power than you.
- I won't lose.
- Enkidu and Gilgamesh wrestled but soon they discovered they were evenly matched and stopped fighting. They became friends soon after.
- Enkidu and Gilgamesh then went on adventures and quests together. They started a quest in a cedar forest that had an evil monster named Humbaba. Humbaba had been terrorizing the people of Uruk, so Enkidu and Gilgamesh defeated the monster. After they did they cut down a cedar tree and headed back to Uruk.
- Yeah we are.
- We are heroes now, Gilgamesh.
- I like you Gilgamesh.
- I don't like you, sorry.
- After Gilgamesh and Enkidu came back the goddess of love, Ishtar, fell in love with Gilgamesh but he rejected her. Ishtar was angry and sent the Bull of Heaven to fight Gilgamesh and Enkidu.
- Yeah.
- We will defeat this bull.
- Enkidu and Gilgamesh defeated the bull but sadly, Enkidu died of his injuries. Gilgamesh mourned his friend's sad death.
