- That is a lot of steps, just for one of the many parts of meiosis. But you still havent answered my question, how do the living creatures come to be?
- Well now that we are here, I can finnaly teach you about Meiosis! This is what we call interphase, when the cell is preparing itself for meiosis. The cell duplicates its DNA, and grows. These steps are divided into G1, S, and G2.

- Theres more than 1 prophase? that's cool! but wait, what is "crossing over"?
- Here, you can observe prophase I, and yes, there are two prophases. Here, the chromosomes condense, the nuclear envelope breaks down, and crossing over occours.
- Crossing over is when two homologous chromosomes exchange genetic information.
