- Juliet begs Frair Lawrence to not let the wedding go on and to not allow her to be married to Paris. If Friar Lawrence can't help Juliet she threatens to kill herself with a dagger, so Friar makes a plan for Juliet to follow, the plan is for Juliet to fake her death to escape from the marriage and her family.
- Juliet goes home to tell her parents that she has repented her disobedience against them, and she is now happy to marry Paris, Lord Capulet is happy by the news he decides to move the wedding day to a day earlier, which is the next day.
- Juliet finally decides to take the "poison" that is going to lead to her "death" and Juliet sends the Nurse away to carry out her plan, although she is scared about taking the "poison" because she is afraid it won't work and if it doesn't work she will kill herself with the dagger, and she is also scared the poison is actually poison and is scared it will kill her, but she decides to trust Friar Lawrence.
- The Nurse is sent to go wake up Juliet by Lady Capulet and when the Nurse goes to wake up Juliet she starts off happy because Nurse doesn't know that Juliet drank something to make her sleep, and she cries out for help.
- The Capulets and Paris find out that Juliet is "dead" and the wedding can no longer happen, Lord Capulet is sad because his ticket to looking good in public is gone, Lady Capulet is sad because Juliet was a ticket for her to live her life through because Lady Capulets life wasn't so wonderful, Paris is upset because he waited so long to marry her but now he can't because she is dead, the Nurse is truly the only one upset because the Nurse and Juliet were like mother and daughter.
