Did you do your homework in General Chemistry?
Yes! Why?
Hey! What's up? Bryan.
Hehe Yes, I don't have yet homework
I'm little confused about in our homework, can we review the homework
I'm pretty sure you have no homework. Am I right?
Sure! Why not, Let's start first in Intermolecular Forces.
So what are the 4 types of Intermolecular forces?
Including the electromagnetic forces of attraction or repulsion which act between atoms and other types of neighboring particles, atoms or ions.
And Intermolecular force have 4 types forces.
An Intermolecular force is the force that mediates interaction between molecules.
The 4 types of Intermolecular forces are Dispersion, Dipole-Dipole, Hydrogen Bonding, and Ion-Dipole.
Second the Dipole-Dipole force. It is attractive forces between the negative end of another polar molecule.
First the Dispersion or London dispersion force. It is the weakest intermolecular force, it is a temporary attractive force that results went the electrons in two adjacent atoms occupy positions that make the atoms form temporary dipoles.
So what is the last?
Third is the Hydrogen Bonding. It is interactin involving a hydrogen atom located between a pair of other atoms havng a high affinity for electrons, such a bond is weaker than an ionic bond or covalent bond but stronger tan van der Waals forces.
Fourth is the Ion-Dipole Forces. It is an attractive force that results from the electrostatic attraction between an ion and a neutral molecule that as a dipole.
You too!! Have a good day Anne!
Now I understand our homework, Thank you so much!!
You're welcome! anytime you can ask me if you confused in our class, by the way have a good day Bryan!
