- The princess is Ariadne, the daughter of King Minos. Later that day, when Theseus is sleeping, she sneaks a letter to him saying that she will help him.
- They met each other the next day. Ariadne gave a sword and a ball of string to Theseus. She told him to kill the minotaur with the sword and unroll the yarn at the start of the labyrinth and that would lead him to the minotaur. After that she said, if you kill it, you must take me with you to Athens, and Theseus agreed.
- The guards forced Theseus and the rest of the boys inside and lcked the doors. Theseus asked the children to hold the yarn firmly to the door while he tracked the minotaur. He finally found it and they had an intense showdown but in the end, Theseus won. Ariadne appeared with the key and opened the doors. They all went back to Athens together.
