The Parable of the unmerciful servant

- Jesus was talking to a group of people when Peter ( one of Jesus's disciples) asked him is seven times enough to forgive someone?
- Jesus said not seven times but seventy times seven, then he told a story.
- The king had let his servants borrow money. A servant that ow the king $10000 was brought in, he couldn't pay. The king was going to sell him with his family and every thing they own. The servant begged the king. And the king let the servant go.
- When he got to a fellow servant that ow him a few thousands of dollars. He couldn't pay, he asked for some more time. The servant said no. So the fellow servant was put in prison.
- Other people saw what had happen and were mad at the servant and told the king what had happen.
- Then, the king put the servant in prison. He did that because the servant should have had mercy on the fellow servant, he did not, but the king did.
- Then Jesus said"that is what my heavenly father will do if you do not forgive your brothers or sisters. "
