- That's great, so I will go directly to our main idea. Can you tell me about your experience when you are looking for intern and did you find any online tool that made this step easier for you?
- Honestly, It's a disaster, I spent about 5 weeks last summer looking for interns I searched online and offline and even I went to the companies offices and asked directly and the only online tool I found some offers was LinkedIn but the offers variety was limited.
- I'm really sorry for the bad experience, the good news that in our IT company we are working on an application that will help students finds intern offers more easily and efficient . Before giving you an idea I want to hear from you what the main points that you want to see in our application
- That's a awesome idea sir, sure I will make it easier for you and I will list them in points : I want a application that contains a variety of intern options The application process should be easy for any studentIt should contains a advanced search engine with multiple choicesStudents and companies should be able to chat
- Okay, so as a first step I want to have multiple log choice either log using my google account directly or create an account by myself or log as a guest just to browse the offers. Second I want to have a recommendation page that recommend offers according to my profile (in case I created one) otherwise it will show latest offers, moving to the search part I want to have an advanced search with some filters . In case I find the best job for me I want to be able to propose to that job easily by just providing the min information and attaching my CV with a cover letter.
- Actually, we consider all the point you mentioned and that's great that we are filling the needs of our future users, and now this will be the last point to ask you about, imagine you are a user how does the perfect user experience in our app should be, can you give me a brief description ?
- So that's the first part until you find the offers, can you suggest the next steps?
- Basically, I want to have the ability to follow the offer and check how many student applied for it and check the statue of that offer if its still open or not. In case, I got accepted I want to get in touch with the company in a messaging part in the app, like an interview section to schedule the interview and get in touch with me more with no need to use one side emails like the classic method. I think that's all from my side what do you think, is it possible to implement ?
