- The Spanish Conquistador would capture and control much of Central and South America. The Native Americans had to farm and look for gold. The Spanish Sent out some missionaries to the new world to teach native people to be Catholic.
- The french explorers established New France west of the Mississippi River throughout Great lakes and some part of Canada. They sent Missionaries and establish trading outposts for fur trade with the Native Americans
- They were at war with Spain because they wanted the same wealth they made in the new world. English explorers mapped and claimed parts of the Atlantic coast from Georgia to Canada.
