- The people of this world must pay for their sins! Would you rather spend an eternity paying in Purgatory?! Or why worry when we offer indulgences, a remission of your heinous sins and wrongs!
- How could people pay their way to heaven? salvation is through faith, and faith alone, not through good works as the church says. The scripture of God supports this!
- There is far too much corruption within the church and the indulgences they've begun to sell are revolting, Salvation is a gift from God that can be obtained by sinners with faith, not good works. As well as the hierarchical division between the laity and clergy in the church which is practically palpable. All people have access to God through Jesus Christ, and therefore we are all equal within the church.
