- Right now, you are in interphase! Now, lets talk about them all!!
- One day..... there was this boy named Jay. He had a bad temper and always screamed at his mom. He didn't want to do the chores so he yelled and went to his room. But when he went up the stairs he slipped and fell and got a scar.
- WHAT! Thats SO COOLLLLL!!
- Jay, spindle fibers are for moving and splitting chromosomes
- His mother brought him upstairs to his bedroom. He was still screaming and crying. When she looked at her scar, she wanted to teach him about the phases of mitosis. These phases are interphase, prophase, metaphase, anaphase, telophase, and cytokinesis.
- MY ARM IS FEELING BETTER!!! This is getting interesting mom!!
- A chromosome is thread like material that carries genetic information!!
- Also, centrioles provide structure for the cell.
- In interphase, the chromosomes duplicate. In Prophase, the chromosomes condense. In metaphase, chromosomes line up in the center. In Anaphase, the chromosomes divide. In Telophase, they split. Finally, in cytokinesis, they divide into fours.
- Chromatid has a role of passing all the chromosomes to the daughter cells.
- Chromatin makes up the chromosomes and is made of protein and DNA!
- I feel GRRRRREEATT!!!!
- Jay is starting to feel better as he is learning about mitosis and how it works. Also, he is learning about spindle fibers!!!!
- Jay is healing very fast as his mother talks about centrioles and chromosomes.
- His mom is talking about chromatid and chromatin. A couple days later he was fully healed!!!! :D
