  • Do you mean his Majesty
  • O horror, horror, horror! Confusion now hath made his masterpiece. Most sacrilegious hath broke ope the lords anointed temple, and stole thence.
  • Approach the chamber and destroy your sight with a new gorgon. Do not bid me speak.
  • Woe, alas! What, in our house?
  • O Banquo, Banquo, our royal master has been murdered!
  • Macduff discovers the king dead and is informing Macbeth and Lennox about this death. Macbeth pretends to be unaware of this tragedy and acts confused.
  • Had I but died an hour before this chance , I had lived a blessed time, for from this instant there's nothing serious in morality . All is but toys. Renown and grace is now dead.
  • Macduff tells Macbeth and Lennox that the king is laying dead in the bedroom and to go see for themselves.
  • Your royal father's murdered.
  • What is amiss?
  • Banquo enters the bedroom to see the king dead and Macbeth and Lady Macbeth are both acting like they have no idea what had happened.
  • Oh, yet I do repent me of my fury, that I did kill them.
  • Those of his chamber, as it seemed, had done't.
  • Macbeth claims that there is now no reason to live now that the king is dead. Even though he is the man behind king Duncan's death.
  • Macbeth and Macduff explain the bad news to Donalbain.
  • You are, and do not know't. The spring, the head, the fountain of your blood. It stopped; the very source of it is stopped.
  • Macbeth acts as if he is the good guy and regrets killing the guards even though they would have deserved it if they did kill king Duncan.
