Okay fine. Humanism is not a religion because religion is a system of human norms and values that is founded on a belief in a superhuman order.
as the teacher said in the lesson, religions are created by superhuman law while humanism is created by human decision.
I see but why is that?
okay this might take a while. lets walk, shall we.

humanism is focused on human nature, not the beliefs of how homo sapiens came to be like other religions. They are more focused on fact/evidence rather than faith/belief
oh yeah I remember those. Liberal is the inner core that gives the ethical and politcal authority. Socialist see humanity as a whole and is all about equality. And Evolutionary is about evolving more and becoming better.
there are 3 different types of humanism - liberal, socialist, and evolutionary humanism. They all have their own interpertation but revolve around the same idea.
okay I'm starting to get it now.
