- Getting ready
- Going into the car
- On our way to the library.
- My mom and 3 sisters and I, had to get ready to go and return the books, since it was almost the deadline.
- Car crashed into us
- we got in the car (grey car, Pontiac van) And I sat down and put my seat belt on, and we went off to go to the library .
- So then, we were just calm, you know chilling, my mom driving, my two young sisters|sleeping, and the oldest was on her phone and I was looking out through the car window.
- Then, we were going up to a bridge going to where north school was and then boom a white car was going a little bit too fast towards us and crashed into us. All my sisters and I, including my mom, were scared and shocked at what just happened to us at that moment because it felt like those fair rides..
- AHHH MA!
- A lady came by and stopped by and got out of her car to help us and called 911, and my mom called my dad to come as quickly as possible since he was working. My siblings and mom were crying, and I was worried about us and mostly my mom because she got hit by the air bag hard on her chest. The police/ambulance came, a policewoman came and asked me questions like “how are you and sisters ““how old is your mom” etc., the guy that crashed into us was okay and not injured, nothing broke but the front left wheel popped and some other things.
- Finally, my dad came with one of his friends to take my sisters and I home safely, so my dad stayed with my mom. So, then all my siblings and I got in the other person's car, and wewere still in shock, and I tried to calm my sisters and myself down, and then when we came back home, I felt safe, and I hugged my mom since she got hit. But since then, we have been careful, and we don’t really bring it up into conversations. (We had to wait till we got another car like almost a year and a half of waiting.)
