- We set off on our adventure, our first stop was France. Everyone was excited for the next weeks to come!
- We arrived in France and immediately encountered many differences from life at home.
- The highways here have no lines...
- We arrived at the first place we were staying, a chateau in the countryside of France. It was run by one man who owned the house. We were the only guests so It felt a little spooky. We encountered a huge language barrier with the host because he spoke little to no english.
- Bonjour! Bienvenue! Je ne parle pas beaucoup anglais mais je vais arborer de mon mieux.
- What did he say.....
- You ate all of that so fast!!
- We tried many different foods that weren't necessarily that good but we felt as though we needed to eat them so we didn't seem unappreciative of the food but the host was extremely shocked that we had eaten it all.
- We saw many sites like the Louvre and the Eiffel tower. We ate at little cafes and drank lots of coffee and ate lots of croissants. I decided to collect sugar packets from all the places we go because I thought it was interesting how different they were from home.
- After time in France we got on a plane and headed to Croatia. Personally I was most excited for this stop the most out of them all.
