It was significant to the French because they gained money that they needed to pay off war debt from previous wars and from the French Revolution.

The Trail of Tears was significant to the natives because they were forced out of their homes and many people did not get to see their new homes because of the harsh conditions. It was significant to the USA side because now the Georgian settlers were very happy because they now could make cash crops to trade through the port of New Orleans.

It was significant to the Americans because they gained the southwest states for land and more area for the new settlers to go.

It was significant to the settlers because even though they wanted to rush for gold and land, they had to make sacrifices while crossing rivers and mountains that everything may be lost if something goes wrong.

It was significant tothe US Army because they had a major loss of life and a big decrease in the morale of other units going to fight the Natives because of what happened to the 7th Cavalry. It was significant to the Natives because they had won a major battle to fend off the US Army from pushing them father west, but later even though they had this big victory they were later pushed from their homeland and starved by new settlers which did not allow some of them to continue with life.
