- Odysseus arrived "on the island of Aeolia (line 527)" with his men after a horrible storm. The king puts the "stormy winds in a bag (line 529)" so the storms would not attack them.
- Keep this locked up, ok man?
- I got you.
- The bag was brought aboard ship and discovered by the "curious and suspicious sailors (line 531)". The sailors opened the bag to release "the evil winds (line 532)" on the ship sending them back to Aeolia.
- Y'all I-
- Whoops.
- It's quiet ain't no back talk.

- Did they use seasoning?
- After departing Aeolia for the second time, Odysseus and his crew arrive to an island of "gigantic cannibals (line 534"), Laestrygonians. Odysseus escaped while the other "crew was devoured" and the other ships were destroyed.
- The crew arrived to a "smooth stone house (line 540)" that was surrounded by "wolves and mountain lions (line 541)". It was strange because they seemed to be under some spell.

- What do we do?
- The crew came to "the entrance way (line 549)"of the hut and "heard the goddess Circe (line 551)" singing. She sang "low (line 552)" as she worked on her loom creating beautiful fabrics.
- I mean I think she's fine.
- Odysseus' "most faithful and likable (line 556)"officer didn't see Circe as a threat. Just as "a young weaver singing (line 557)". He asked Odysseus if they should great the lady...or was she a goddess?
