- Mary and Joseph go to Bethlehem
- Mary and Joseph look for somewhere to stay
- Baby Jesus is born
- Mary and her husband, Joseph, travelled a long way from Nazareth to stay at Bethlehem. Mary was pregnant and rode on a donkey while Joseph led the way. It would often get very hot during the day, so the journey was hard.
- Angels tell the shepherds the good news
- When they finally reached Bethlehem, it was almost time for Mary to have the baby. Nobody in town had room inside for Mary and Joseph to stay, everywhere was full!
- The shepherds come to visit
- Mary and Joseph finally found room in a stable. Mary gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in clothes and laid him in a manger.
- The wise men bring gifts
- There were some shepherds in a field not too far away, watching over their sheep. All of a sudden, the sky lit up and many angels filled the night sky. Glory to God in the highest! They sang.
- After the angels told the shepherds the good news, they went to visit the new born king, Baby Jesus!
- Three wise men came from far away to give gifts to the new born king. They were gold, frankincense and myrrh. Everyone rejoiced because the new king was born!
