The Louisiana Purchase was significant to Americans because it increased their resources, land, profit, and transportation abilities. While the Louisiana Purchase had a positive effect towards the Americans, it had a negative effect towards the enslaved, because there were more slaves needed to maintain all the added 828,000 square miles of land.

MANIFEST DESTINY
The “Indian” Removal was significant to the Cherokees because it caused many of their people to perish, as well as cause conflict (such as Oregon Territory and Westward Expansion) between them and white Americans because of the American's fail to commit to the treaties placed. “Indian” Removal also increased white supremacy, and changed the way America was starting to define itself.

The land grant of Texas was significant to the Americans, because it impacted trade and economy, since Texas was a land with rich soil, therefor making it good for growing cash crops, such as wheat, rice, corn and sugar, to then sell. The land grant also impacted the Mexico’s relationship with the settlers, since the settlers refused to obey their agreement.

Texas - 1846-1848
The Mexican War was significant to the Texans, because the Texans declared their independence from Mexico, and eventually created the Republic of Texas. It also impacted the Native population, such as The Five Civilized Tribes, because America took over almost half of Mexico, therefor allowing little land for the Native population to settle.
YOU TEXANS DIDN'T OBEY THE AGREEMENT
YOU HAVE TAKEN OUR LAND FROM US!
Oregon Territory was significant to the Tribes, because their land decreased dramatically; essentially, they lost all their land which meant that they'd have nowhere to live. Oregon Territory was also significant to Americans and the British, because they compromised over the American border (Oregon treaty).
Oregon
“Westward Expansion” was significant to the Native population, because the Americans depleted the bison population, a very important resource to the Natives that they depended on for survival, as well as force the Natives out of the very reservations they were assigned to reside in, which caused Natives to have almost no land. “Westward Expansion” also had some negative effect towards the U.S., because Custer’s U.S. army lost against Sitting Bull's army, a major setback and loss to the U.S. because of the loss of 200+ men.
