- Ona bright and sunny day, a family of birds were flying through a jungle. Therewas a mama bird, a papa bird, three sister birds, and the little baby bird:Jerry. - HELP MY WINGS ARE STUCK!!!
- As the birds continued to fly, Jerry was getting tired. His little wings needed to rest. It began to rain, so Jerry thought it was a good idea to fly to the closest tree and take a break. He left his flock and flew to a nearby tree.
- Jerry arrived at a large tree that had enough leaves to shelter him from the pouring rain. He decided to sit between multiple leaves and branches to stay dry. When Jerry’s wings felt better, he stood up tall and got ready to fly. But for some reason, he couldn’t move.
- Jerry realized one of his wings was caught in the branches! He tried to shake the branches off, but nothing worked, he wasn’t strong enough to get himself out. Jerry knew he needed help, but from who? His flock was nowhere in sight, and it felt as if he was the only one in the jungle. Jerry decided to chirp for help anyway, hoping someone would help.
- The rain finally stopped, but Jerry was still stuck in the tree. As the sun was shining again, a beautiful blue peacock strutted through the jungle. Jerry got excited, help was here! He chirped and chirped, but the peacock kept walking. “The peacock probably can’t hear me!” Jerry worried.
- He started to rustle the leaves as loud as he could, trying to gain the peacock’s attention. However, the noise scared the peacock, and the feathers of the blue creature spread open in terror as she scurried away.
