- Wake up! We’re visiting another realm!
- Hey, fire brothers. Oh, you too, Evangeline. I heard that we’re visiting a neighbouring realm?
- Yes, we are. It has a very clever name: the Woods. And I hear it possesses woods.
- LAND HO!!!
- Mare Barrow, after an odd night of masquerading as a Silver-blooded princess of the country named Norta, woke to King Tiberias Calore bouncing around her room.
- You four are a group. Remember, look for two castles , one white, one black, with a bridge connecting them, and a tower in the middle.
- You got it!
- After Mare got dressed, she got on a boat alongside the other High Houses. She met her betrothed, Maven, his brother, Cal, and Cal’s betrothed, Evangeline, on the bow of their ferry.
- Umphh...
- I see...the tip of a tower!
- A few hours later, land was spotted. And just as Maven had commented, it was covered in thick forests.
- I gotta say, the Woods is really pretty at night.
- The ship docked on the Woods’s shore at night, and Tiberias came over and put the four in a group together. He told them to look for a strange location.
- And so, Mare, Cal, Maven, and Evangeline trekked through the Woods, searching for what Tiberias described. Mare asked Cal to hoist her on his back so she could see farther.
- All of a sudden, voices emerged from the darkness. The group quickly hid behind a tree...
