- In Heorot, many years ago, there was monster named Grendel that killed people because of being happy. All this war against him, has lasted 12 years.
- My name is Beowulf, I am the nephew of the king of Hygelac. I'm here in Heorot because I heard that there is a monster attacking the town, and even though this is not my place, I am willing to give everything to kill it. I know it is very risky, but I will do whatever it takes to stop this torture from continuing. Together with my warriors, I am almost certain that we will succeed in defeating it. Can you let me enter to your honorable place, to speak with King Hrothgfar?
- Beouwulf, with a great well-wishing, was allowed to defeat the monster. And the brave Beowulf did it, without weapons, he defeated Grendel, the monster that had been tormenting the people of Heorot for 12 years. With his own hands, he killed Grendel, also removing his arm, which will be taken to the king along with the news that this horrendous monster will not kill any more people ever again.
- As a king, I must tell you that you are a true hero, I am immensely grateful for everything you have done for Heorot, you deserve many things. You are young, but brave, solidary, intelligent and very generous. You have already become theat man that the people need.
- Years passed after Beowulf had defeated the monster. His uncle, the king, died and now, he was in charge. And he was doing a very good job, not only as a hero but as a king, for many years. A dragon-lava lance, attacked his kingdom, and he, although no longer young, was also willing to give everything to save his people, and will not wait to defeat this dragon. He was willing to die to kill it, and he knows that he will succeed, he does not want it to be easy to defeat it, nor risk so many warriors, so he and 10 more are is on his way to kill it, convinced that the bravest hero is still there.
- This needs to be over now, I know I can do it. All these years I had accomplished everything I propose, this is not an exception
