- Marjane experience with sex, drugs, finding friends, and losing them. Marjane was badly influenced when living in Vienna, she became homeless and lost her innocence which has changed her teenage years. If things had changed , Marji would not be living in the streets, become a good student, not lie and feel guilty with herself.
- Let's go now!!!
- I could relate to Marjane experience because growing up as a teenager was really difficult. I had trouble finding friends and having trouble avoiding peer pressure. I would make bad decisions and regrets it badly.If things had changed i would have a better teenage year and make better decisions.

- Marjane moved to Austria to escape prosecution and avoid witnessing War from getting worser. Moving there has changed her to be independent and also make bad decisions. If she had not move there, she would face prosecution due to having rebellious behaviors.
- OMG What Happen???
- OH MY GOD!!! They are in trouble!!!
- I can relate to moving in another country and being rebellious just like Marjane. This was important because we have a strong hate towards the Burmese because they are bad and this has changed most of my life. We moved to the US so we can get away from that conflict and avoid trouble. If i did not move to the US i would see many conflicts happening in front of my eyes.
- When the Shah burns down the cinema it was significant because it changed the way Marjane view the protest and has affects on her understanding the the problems around her. If the incident didn't occur it wouldn't made things worse for Marjane.
- This was significant to me because It really changed most of experience and childhood. When i saw that my neighbor house got caught on fire i was shocked, their died which made it really devastating and sad. I was scared to ever own a dog and if i could take care of it. If this hasn't happened i would never feel some type of way when i see things on fire.
