Help us! Bring us into the Dome!
Conflict/Rising Action
Seize her
Life is good in the Dome for the "Pure," like Partridge and Lida. They are healthy, they get plenty to eat, go to a good school and have a nice place to sleep at night.
Rising Action
Are you out here mom? Are you still alive?
The world outside the Dome has been destroyed. The "Wretches" remain: grotesquely altered humans with bodies fused to glass, steel, animals and even other humans.
Climax/Falling Action
Pressia Belze, a wretch with a doll's head fused to her wrist, flees her home to avoid being forced to join the violent military group which opposes the Dome but also terrorizes the wretch population.
Cliffhanger
Meanwhile . . . Partridge defies his dad and escapes the Dome with Lida's help. Alone outside the Dome, Partridge must conceal his purity or risk capture and death while Lida is imprisoned in the Dome as his accomplice .
Pressia and her friend Bradwell save Partridge from rampaging wretches as he searches for his mother. But Pressia's loving grandfather is lost and likely dead at the hands of the Dome forces.
