The Hamartia in Oedipus is the prophecy of his fate to kill his father and sleep with his mother. It leads to his downfall because he was destined to kill his father and sleep with his mother which leads to him gouging his eyes out and being exiled from Thebes .
Symbolism
Hubris in the story comes out when Oedipus sort of tries to deny the fate he has been given. He tries to flee the location of his adoptive parents and still ends up completing the prophecy.
A moment of dramatic irony in the story is when Oedipus is looking for the killer of Laius, when in reality the killer is himself.
