- A man was walking on the road from Jerusalem toJericho
- When he fell under the hands of robbers. They stripped him, beat him half to death and left him on the side of the road.
- A priest happened to be walking by. But when he saw them an he past on the other side of the road
- So to a Levite happened to be walking by. But when he saw the man he past on the other side.
- But a Samaritan, seeing the man took pity on him.He placed him on his own beast and took him to an inn and took care of him.
- The next day, he put the man on his animal and brought him to an inn to take care of him. He payed the inn keeper two denarii and said he would pay the rest when he got back.
