- Hey, I'm a sediment. Rocks like me form through the process of weathering and erosion. We also become sediments through chemical deposition from materials that were dissolved in water
- Not only can I become a rock through certain processes, but I can make rocks! I can become a Metamorphic rock from Heat, Pressure, and Chemical Action. I can also turn into an Igneous rock from getting heated by magma then cooling off.This type of rock also goes through changes just like me.
- Hey, I'm a Metamorphic rock. I process from Heat, Pressure, and Chemical Action. With the Heat and Pressure, you can manipulate the rock and make it into a cool shape.
- Just like the Sedimentary rocks, I can also transform into other rocks. I can turn into Sedimentary from Weathering and Erosion. Also Igneous from Magma heating then slowly cooling the rock.
- Hey! I'm an Igneous rock. I come from magma that either stays inside or erupts out of the volcano behind me. I'm still in the process of cooling down. Rocks like me can be intrusive or extrusive. Above ground magma is extrusive, while below ground is intrusive.
- Just as you heard with Metamorphic rocks, and Sedimentary rocks, we can all go in an infinite cycle of becoming different rocks. I can be Igneous one day, then Metamorphic the next. This is how the rock cycle works.#160;
