- Gina Comes Home from the NICU Her Parents Found out she had microcephaly and that she is extremely sick, later on they found out it was Smith- Lemli-Optiz syndrome. Their lives have just changed forever.
- As a teacher I would promote socialization, peer interaction, and communication through assistive technology so that Gina's could meet her goals so her voice along with her parents could be voiced.
- I would make sure her voice along with her parents is heard by promoting her the anti-bullying program she was in the Peer Buddy Program.
- As a teacher I would have Gina's Parents Come talk about Gina's Story so that everyone can get inspired through her lives journey
- I would make sure Gina gets the modifications and accommodations she needs.
- Gina is just like everyone else. She can participate in activities, like going to the playground, swimming, riding a tricycle and going to weddings. Just because she is sick does not mean she is limited. As a teacher I would help her parents voice, by making sure their child gets the help they need and spread awareness.
