The Dash For Life

- On a fine summer day at the zoo, a girl named Mia was doing her daily cleaning duties of the lion exhibit.
- Not realising the time, from the corner of her eye Mia saw the gate of the lion cage starting to OPEN!
- Grrrrrr
- In horror, she dropped the broom dashed for the exit door but it was locked! Staying as quiet as a mouse, the panic was fast spreading over her.
- Grrrrrr
- Calming herself down she saw her escape, if she could just run fast enough there was a body of water that separated the gate and the exhibit.
- Luckily the lion was busy investigating the broom she had dropped earlier. Reluctantly taking her chance Mia dashed for the body of water. Hearing a splash the lion ran toward the sound, but being a cat, and disliking water, it grumpily backed away from the water.
- Mia then dripping wet with water began to climb over the very high fence and luckily made it to the other side. She was certainly going to keep track of the time next time she cleaned their exhibit!
