-All animals are equal -But some animals are more equal than others
EXAMPLE 2
"Readjustment"
On the farm, the animals agree that "all animals are equal", but the pigs add "but some animals are more equal than others." Here, they abuse the language agreed upon by twisting the idea of equality for their own gain.
Four legs good, two legs bad
Squealer's role as a propaganda spreader furthers the pig's abuse of language. He uses false information and specific word choices (like "readjustment" vs "reduction") to keep the other animals complacent.
NAMES
The Sheep aren't given names, only denoted as the group itself, much like people who blindly follow are called "sheep". The sheep are followers who believe what they're told and support Napoleon without question.
Four legs good, two legs bad
Squealer is one of the pigs who works under Napoleon, and spreads propaganda and false information. Squealer represents the role of the press in any dictatorship (to "squeal" information to the people) and the power of rhetoric.
