When I am not at doing classes or school work, I like to work and code on a project I've been doing for some time. It is quite a hassle getting new things I want to put into it because they usually never work the first few times.
I then get discouraged somewhat and want to stop working on the project for a bit. When this happens, I try to think of the story of how Thomas Edison developed the light bulb.
good job you idiot
Around the light bulb was already something that people were working on, so Edison was not the fist one to try this. Although because he worked on other things prior to this like the phonograph, he knew he could do it, even though It was a challenge at the time.
Him and his associates eventually found a theory on making an efficient incandescent light bulb after over 2000 other theories. This is really important because of his continuous efforts, our homes, flashlights, electronics, cars, and other things use some sort of light bulb in them.

After I take his experience into consideration, I usually feel like I can still make it happen, even if I have failed previously. Then, after enough time and effort. I end up achieving the goal I wanted to get to.
After I realize Thomas Edison's story and the huge impact he made, I learn to stay persistent, determined, and always keep going if things seem like they might not happen. When it comes to anything, if you put in the hard work, the end result should be great and really pay off.
