- Hello. My name is Nina and I will be presenting YOU the FIRST of the three famous laws of motion made by one of the most influential scientists in the world, a genius, Sir Isaac Newton.
- THE FIRST LAW:-An object will continue to remain at rest or uniform motion unless acted upon by an external unbalanced force.
- Yes, we learnt that too in class.
- When I don't kick this ball, it remains in the same position, in a state of rest.
- But when I kick this ball towards you, the force which I put causes the ball to move and it doesn't stop until it hits you in where you are another external force.
- Dude chill! Don't kick so suddenly! You opened the T.B today or what?
- Bro, you see this ball, its in a state of rest.
- I do see that...
- So as you all saw...that is a brief representation of the first law of motion made by Sir Isaac Newton with the real life example of a ball being in a state of rest to being kicked into a uniform state of motion and stopped by another external force.
