- What is that?
- I can't take this anymore.
- Ben is an 11 year old boy who has terrible trouble sleeping and fails his classes because of it. His mother is extremely worried and takes him to a doctor who tracks Ben vitals while he sleeps, and what Ben dreams is shocking.
- I'm a what?
- Ben finds himself in a fight with two kids against a monster, they win out of pure luck and run away. They luckily escape and Ben parts with the other kids.
- Are you prepared to perish, Max?
- After several wild avedutrues and facing many monster Ben is exhausted and wants to wake up.
- Grandpa!
- Ben is confroted by a bunny named Lewis who explains Max's true identity. He's a dream jumper. Lewis continues to explain that dream jumpers have to defeat Erebus, the nightmare lord.
- After preparing for battle Max faces Erebus, who is in the form of his biggest fear, himelf. Startled, Max is beaten and hurt. At his lowest, he rises stronger than before and concor his fear.
- After the tiresome battle, Max discovers Lewis is actually his Grandfather who can shapeshist. Overwhelmed with emotions they embrace and Max returns to the real world to live out a natural relatity.
