- In this part of the activity, you’re going to learn about the different kinds of e-cigarettes.
- E-cigarettes are also called vape mods, vape pens, vape pipes, vape sticks or e-cigs. We’re just going to call them e-cigarettes throughout this program.

- The cartridge or tank holds the liquid, which is also called “e-juice”.

- The heating element is what turns the liquid into vapor.

- E-cigarettes work because the battery powers the heating element, which heats up and vaporizes the liquid. The person who uses the e-cigarette inhales (or breathes in) and exhales (breathes out) the vapor.
