- Climax: The ship sinks, and Mr.Wyatt don't want to go without his box, and he dies trying to go with his oblong box
- Falling action: Everyone is concerned about the death of Mr.Wyatt and why he didn't wanted to left his oblong box
- Resolution: At the end the protagonist talks about what was inside the oblong box, where the captain said that inside was the body of Mr.Wyatt dead wife.
