  • Mental/Emotional wellness is how you think, feel, and act. One of the biggest factors in your mental/emotional wellness is how you manage stressful situations that arise. Making positive choices for how you deal with stressful situations will improve your mental/emotional wellness.
  • Physical wellness is how you take care of your body, including exercise, nutrition, and hygiene. Physical activity is a major component of physical wellness. There are 5 health-related components of physical activity: body fat composition, flexibility, muscular endurance, muscular strength, and cardiovascular endurance. A shortcoming in any of these components can affect your physical wellness.
  • Physical Wellness
  • Social wellness includes how you interact with people in social situations, including your friends and family. While technology has made interacting with others easier and more convenient, face-to-face interactions are equally as important. Situations such as working with your peers at school on a group project or discussing your job performance with your boss require you to use specific interpersonal skills.
