- The Earth is a wonderful place with many amazing creatures. They depend on forests and so do humans. The human population is always growing and we keep needing more wood to build things, but if we use too much we could have a big problem.
- National Geographic says that the world is realizing that if you want to stop climate change, trees hold much of the answer.
- Deforestation affects everything, and it can lead to global warming. It can also lead to water cycle corruption, soil erosion, and biodiversity loss. All because of a forest that's being cut down.
- There are some solutions out there, like for every tree you cut down you plant one more. Some other ideas are adding laws about cutting down trees, or banning clear-cut forests. You can help too, by using less paper, recycling, or explaining what deforestation is and why we need to fix it.
